Taggart’s Basic Driver Education Program, licensed by the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS), includes:
- 📚 30 hours of classroom instruction
- 🚗 6 hours of private, one-on-one behind-the-wheel training
This program satisfies Georgia’s driver education requirements and prepares students to pass the DDS road test while developing safe, defensive driving habits for life.
Our adult driving lessons are personalized to meet each driver’s needs.
What to Expect:
- ⏱️ Lessons scheduled by the hour
- ⭐ Two-hour minimum recommended for optimal learning
- 🏠 Pick-up available at home or another approved location
During your first lesson, the instructor will:
- Evaluate current driving skills
- Provide hands-on instruction
- Recommend the number of lessons needed to pass the DDS road test and drive confidently and defensively
Many Georgia judges will dismiss or withhold processing of a moving violation when the offender completes a DDS-licensed six-hour Driver Improvement Program.
