- π Instructors can demonstrate maneuvers (such as parallel parking or backing into a parking space) from their side — no need to stop and switch seats.

ROAD TEST SERVICE
To obtain a driver’s license in the state of Georgia, an applicant must pass both a written test (for a learner’s license) and a road skills test to obtain a driver’s license. The Department of Driver Services’ (DDS) road test usually consists of maneuvers such as parallel parking, weaving through traffic cones, reversing the car in a straight line, making left and right hand turns, giving proper signals, and actual driving on the streets and highways. Taggart's Driving School, in 2006, received a special license from the Department of Driver Services and we are now authorized to provide the state on the road test necessary to obtain a driver's license in the state of Georgia. Officially, we are called a "Third Party Provider". Appointments for the road test are made by calling our office at 770-934-2144
