Clinical Evaluations

After completing the assessment and the 20 hour Department of Human Resources licensed D.U.I. Risk Reduction Program, individuals convicted of a second D.U.I. or drug charge within a 5 year period must complete a clinical evaluation before the Department of Motor Vehicle Safety will, possibly, restore driving privileges.

Taggart's Driving School has a licensed evaluator on our staff and can complete the clinical evaluation for you or you can choose another from the DHR Clinical Evaluators Registry.

The clinical evaluator will determine whether your driving privileges should be restored or that you must enroll in an out-patient or possibly in-patient services.  To maintain a "fair" process, the clinical evaluator cannot recommend your enrollment in a program where they have any interest.

The fee for the clinical evaluation is $125.00 and can be paid by cash, Visa Card, Master Card or American Express. By law, all evaluations and results are confidential.

Appointments with our evaluator can be scheduled by calling Taggart's on 770-939-3080 or E-mail.
